JB4 Install CAN wire question

I've searched and searched and searched and I for the life of me CANNOT find any detailed instruction on which stock wires to tap into with the CAN wires. (CAN wires are the green and brown wires that come on the JB4 harness)

Also - other installation threads/videos are showing power and ground wires for the JB4. I don't have any power or ground wires coming off my main harness. Just the (2) Map sensor connectors, the FF connector, and the EWG connector (that I had to attach myself) and the CAN wires.

Thanks in advance.

Update: BMS just advised (very quickly I might add) that for the EWG JB4 there are no power or ground wires needed.

So just need to know which CAN wires to tap into and I'll be up and running.

Thanks!

Ok and finally found the correct install guide for the CAN wires. For anyone wondering they are the two wires in my pic above on the far left and closest to the bottom...one thick yellow one and one thin blue one.

Is it necessary to add the CAN wires if I'll be running a full cat back exhaust? Just received mine today, was wondering how difficult it was to install?

On a site note, does anyone know where one could get that 'fabricy' tape that is seen wrapping the cable harnesses in the OP's pic?

What happens if you leave the ground wires connected?

If you have the JB4 Stage 2, the CAN wires must be connected. That is where it gets all of the data about the car.

If you got the EWG specific board, the JB4 Stage 2 will not come with power and ground wires. Otherwise, you will need those power and ground wires to be connected.

Yeah that's what I meant, my original JB4 had them grounded already. I just swapped the boxes but let the connections

If you have swapped the board to the new EWG board, you can just cut those power and ground cable.

When running E85, typically what do the majority of users mix? 5Gallons safe?
