Quick advice please.....
I will like to hear some of you guys take on this. I've this happen to me in other vehicles too. When I punch the gas during a hard acceleration on my M235i, the cabin gets exhaust fumes. How can that be? I had the windows up and the A/C ON.
Is there Anything I should look for that could cause this or I'm just worrying too much about nothing. |

First thing is get a carbon monoxide in car detector - the non electric button type.
I find it hard to believe your getting CO in a new car or exhaust fumes of any kind. Phantom cigarette odors are not so unusual so other types of phantom odors may be the issue and not actual dangerous defect. |

If you have the MPE then go to dealer they would use a wand sensor around clamp to find leakage
But I would guess to get leakage into cabin as u describe the leak might have to be near the manifold upfront of the bulkhead and idle would be when the odor is worst / but pressure during acceleration could conceivably have the results you describe. |
