Thanks for the suggestions! I was actually already looking into Techno Violet, Sakhir Orange, and Mexico Blue haha.

Hopefully after "stage 1" is complete it'll be easier to visualize the color.

Any more pictures of the air suspension? Did you get it custom made, i looked on airex they dont have a kit for the suspension. How much did it come out to without install?

Looks great!

Thanks!

I'll try to get some pictures up tonight. This is actually the 1st kit (prototype). The great thing about AirRex (full kit) is that it's 100% plug-n-play, so installation was (relatively) a breeze.

I believe the kit will retail ~6K with full AirRex digital/wireless management. If you choose to go with Accuair management + AirRex, I believe the price will be more around 5K. Let me know, I'd be glad to help you get in contact with an AirRex rep

Here is how the car currently sits. Should see some major changes in the coming weeks/months.

UPDATE

05.15.2015

Here are a few teaser shots of the rear trunk and hood. We were playing with a few ideas with the hood as the skeleton (underside) limits the area for modification. The ultimate plan with the trunk is to turn the spoiler/duckbill into a 3-piece design. That way it will (hopefully) flow better with the wider and more aggressive rear wide body.

Trunk/Hood + front bumper is set to be done by the end of the week
We decided to put the front/side splitters on hold for Bimmerfest to avoid having to remake them when I bring the car back in for widebody + rear bumper/diffuser.

Thanks! As much as I should be excited about the trunk/hood, I can't wait to start the widebody work.

A few behind the scenes shots taken from a buddy of mine. My time spent over at BCD (Buddha Concept Designs) really made me appreciate exactly how much effort/time/expertise goes into their work.

Here are a few shots of them working on the bottom portion of the duckbill. This particular corner took quite a few tries to form the metal to fit the EXACT contour/angle of the duckbill. NO PIE CUTS HERE! All of these larger portions of metal are formed via hand and English Wheel.

A few shots from Bimmerfest West 2015.

UPDATE : Hit a few snags so the car may not be back in the body shop for another month or so. Wheels meant for the widebody won't be coming in until mid/late August, that said, hoping to have the car ready for at least Formula Drift Irwindale/Offset Kings in October and SEMA in November.
