Hello guys,
So I'm currently looking to upgrade my car, a 118d f22, to something with a bit more punch.
Ideally I would take an M240i (F23) but the used ones without too much km to them are at the extreme high end of my budget.
In the more comfortable part of my budget, there are a couple M235i (from 2015 with 55'000km) and a couple M140 at roughly the same price and same amount of km but from 2018-19. FYI, I'm on the Swiss market and both options would be xdrive with automatic gear-box.
I'm much more attracted to the look of the 2-series but at the same time I'm wondering if the m140i would be a wiser choice because of the b58 and other improvements. Although the 16-20hp more on the b58 isn't a big selling point for me.
What do you guys think? Is the b58 worth the trade-off of the 1-series over the 2-series? Would the newer car really last longer? What would I get more apart from the HP and torque?
