Arrow M235i Vert in Austin Yellow...

A friend of mine snapped these pics of a M235i Vert in Austin Yellow. It was seen on the streets of Munich. The pics are low quality... but I thought the color was unique/cool enough to warrant a posting.

I'm not sure if this is a wrap or real paint. Either way I think the color suits the M235i quite well. What do you guys think?

Probably the nicest colour I've seen on a 2er so far...

Looks like real paint. Individual maybe? Or maybe the owner painted afterwards. Looks good on the M4 , would like to see more pictures on a 2 series.

Individual paint is not available at the Leipzig factory - where all M235i's are built. Then again... maybe the owner "knows" someone and has deep pockets to pull off a factory paint job like this. ?

It has an aftermarket diffuser on it (not M Performance), owner could have done more work to it.

I'm really not a fan of AY...and it's not anything against yellow since my Corvette was bright yellow. It's just got too much of a puke green hue to it for me to really like it. It sticks out like a sore thumb though that's for sure.

Dakar yellow on the other hand:

I agree 100% Might even call it a baby poop hue! Never understood why it was the release color of the M4.

From the 2 pics (M235i & M4), I'm liking the AY much better than the DY..

As said, to each his own, but AY looks like dried mustard to me. Ugly.
