Resonator Delete / Supersprint Midpipe

I doubt anyone has a concrete answer to this question but I figured I would ask any way. I know a few people have done a resonator delete on F30 335i's with good results so I'm considering doing it to my car to liven up the exhaust. Reportedly this does not increase drone whatsoever. Does any one know if this Supersprint Midpipe could be made to fit in place of the resonator if I cut in the right places? It looks to me like it would work, and both pipes are 80mm.

I don't have a good answer to your question, but I can suggest a good shop not to far from you. Muffler Headquarteres, in Davie, they do good work and would definitely be able to take care of this for you. I was thinking of doing this as well.

Would it not be easier to take it an exhaust specialist shop and have them cut out the resonator and weld back in a pipe of matching diameter? Probably cheaper too

It's super cheap to do, but sometimes you want to keep the stock parts as is.

Yes, it can be made to swap. The mid pipe comes with the necessary hardware and clamps to replace the midpipe

Let me know if you end up doing this, seems better than a full delete. I am catless thanks to my non existent emissions in fl. I would like the exhaust just a little louder.

I think I'm going to do it at the last moment I can while I can still get free shipping, so if it doesn't work out I just have to pay to return it.

Anyone know if the super sprint mid pipe fits the MPE without any cutting involved.

Been searching long and hard for a mid pipe that slip on fits onto the MPE.. no luck yet.
