Nice write up. I am considering buying one for my wife. I guess I would drive it more than her then.

Nicely written

Well done, I enjoyed the read. If I didn't need the extra back seat space I'd have gone for one of these.

Can't believe this got featured! Thank you so much to everyone for reading and for all the comments, I greatly appreciate it!!! I really wasn't expecting such an overwhelming response.

Mids and highs seem good to me...
I don't find the bass too low, it is quite adequate for my taste. However, if I had a nice 5/10 band equalizer, I could find tune the bass frequencies better. I like the bass coming from percussions to be more powerful while other bass (EDM type, synthesized or bass guitar) to be relatively less powerful. As it sounds, I can increase bass or decrease bass -- which means, more drum bass = more of all other types of bass

Thanks! Sorry to hear about the HD with your GSD. Mine is still a puppy so he manages to squeeze in, with his head out the window all the while of course!

Thanks. Although the pictures make it look like an AW, it's actually MW.

I am looking to buy a new 328i for 2015 and am considering how far below MSRP a person can get...thanks...
I went to BMW of Seattle first. The sales rep either did not know what MF was, or deliberately refrained from talking about it. So went to Bellevue. Had a good experience there. Details of my deals are here:

I will enjoy it no doubt but I will never forget my first BMW (on my profile) which hooked me on the brand forever. I can feel your passion and dedication and have no doubt you will have a long relationship with Bavaria. Welcome to the club friend.
Thanks!

The H/K does have a way to fine tune the frequencies, maybe you have not come across this setting, yet?

Unless there's some hidden configuration screen somewhere, no it doesn't. Just "bass" and "treble". Kind of disappointing.

Are you sure it's the H/K? The F30 has extensive adjustments with the H/K.

Wow, bummer. Maybe a good excuse to upgrade the speakers, or add an amp!

Or, just drive with the windows down more frequently

Very entertaining review! I have to admit, the only thing BMW does not tweak enough, it΄s the entertainment system... The sound and the poor, so poor way of using such a screen! It has such a big screen and still, cannot write more words than in my 09 with no screen.... Come on!

Beautiful write up! I think you characterized the M235i perfectly. I'm 3 weeks into ownership and the car draws me in exactly the same way. I have never owned such a satisfying car - nothing even close.

Like you, I've long considered myself somewhat of a car nut, but never could afford to jump into the crowd car-wise. Every car I've ever owned was lacking in something - handling, power, braking, you-name-it. I can't remember how many times I bought a car, only to see it offered months or a year later with a much better engine, etc. It made me sick. And the cars weren't all that great to begin with.

So here I am, finally, with my dream car!

Thanks, BMW!
