Im assuming you got towed to a dealer or shop, they can tell you better than we can! Could be very minor - could be totally screwed.. Cant tell from here!

What Kolyan2K said. Get it towed to the dealer. There's lots of electronics so no telling what it might be. Certainly nothing for an amateur to fool with. Sorry, for the bad luck but also poor decision on your part. Never enter a flooded area even it others are foolish enough to try. You're taking your chances at that point.

Yikes. Back when it was the great el nino in like 2001 in California my Golf sucked in hella water into the cold air intake and did the same. Insurance paid for it.

Sounds like somebody tried to play u-boat commander. Never, ever a good idea!

Car could literally be totaled, no way to tell until it's on a lift.

I'd say at this point whatever you think you should do, do the opposite.

Literally nothing you are going to do or trying to do will help, you're best off not trying to do anything and let the professionals handle it.

The 2-series is a little lower to the ground than SUV's, trucks, etc. Very sorry to hear about your incident. I think the 2 has some electronics mounted pretty low in the chassis. Be careful out there. It ain't no truck.

Well, they'll either fix it under warranty or use your insurance. No biggy I think.

Another thing is hydrolock. You sucked water into your engine... Done it on my Jeep a few times.. If that happened, and assuming you didn't bend anything, the fix would be to pull the plugs and crank the motor to push the water out of your plug holes.

Let us know what you find out.

Dude...the spot ur car is sitting in is borderline dangerous but looking at how much water the truck behind u is displacing and I'm guessing u just went through that - that's pretty deep!
