I don't remember the exact name but it's the ceramic one 3M makes, it's 20%. I wanted 15% but they only offered that kind in 20%

Thanks man!

I painted the diffuser BSM and Dark Shadow Metallic. Ferric grey is a bit lighter, I think. I also left the center section unpainted

I know This is old But O.P. did you notice that your black kidney grills are different? Look at the thickness of the one on the left compared to the other, its much thinner. The reason I bring this up is because the same thing happen to me and I did not even notice for like 8 months. And I installed them and still didn't pick it up. So I thought someone swapped one out on me, so I was checking my surveillance system and could not find anything. I went back and looked at pictures I took after I put them on and truth be told it was like that the whole time. So now when I looked at yours you had the same issue as I did. So I had to order another and this time it was right but I still lost the money on it. I wonder if it was company spasific & I wonder how many people that happen too. It actually may have been BMW fault I'm not sure.

yea, there must have been a manufacture defect. I bought two sets, for my M235i and for a 228i and both are like that.

It didn't bother me enough to have to spend more money. I didn't notice right away or I might have tried to get the place I bought them for the send me new ones
