Just saw this article pop up... looks like the M235i Widebody Racing Model with the Wing is back on the Nürburgring and they are thinking a possible delay on the M2? The new spy pics show some camo on it...this new?

Hm, wild speculation in that article about alleged M2 delay: "it rained complaints about the M235i Racing" ("problems with handling and stability"). Now there was one seen at the Ring with a wing. Maybe they got it all wrong and we are beholding first test pics of an M2 CSL.

The article is, I think, in Dutch. The author, as you noted, seems to be saying the M235i racing car has received some complaints and so is back on the track to address those. He speculates this may delay production of the M2; but, he doesn't say why. The article seems kind of sketchy to me.
What's interesting is the wing. Looks like it would fit nicely on the M2.

It still doesn't make sense to me that the M235i Racing would keep going on when the M2 comes out. But I guess we'll see. Who knows what we are looking at here.

Never a fan of wings, but this one is functional... and looks amazing. This is one cool looking car. Much more so than the M4 GTS IMHO.

Yep the Wing with widebody stirred thoughts in my head of possibly a M2 CSL but also has the front end & Exhaust of an M235i....

It could be absolutely anything. M235i Racing v2.0 or M2 CSL. I have to say though, the 2er pulls off that wing a bit better than the M4 GTS

(I suppose) It looks certainly more appropriate as a 'boy racer', as opposed to the M4 GTS. With the number of citizen patrollers and good police officers these days; that is a no go.

Wouldn't be a bad option, the wing, adding precious poundage, to be retractable.
