Talking Share your BMW M2 build spec right here!

Now that we have the options list shared on this forum (Thanks Riky), we can all start speccing our M2s using the options list and maybe even the M235i configurator, if you are interested in estimating a potential rough pricing of the M2.

Mineral gray or black sapphire (so torn on this)
6MT
Nav (tech pkg?), comfort access (premium pkg?), HK, heated seats (cold weather pkg?)

This is assuming the same sort of standard spec as the 235 holds true in the US...

Alpine white or long beach blue (since it's an exclusive M color and even though I was never a fan of blue cars), manual and zero options.

Guys, please keep in mind that the US options might be different than the EU cars.

But for me, LBB with 6MT.
Heated seats if not standard in the US.
LED if/when they become available

Done.

Did they with the 1M? What was the difference between a US and EU option list with regards to the 1M?

300 - Alpine White
6MT
494 - Heated seats (only if a standalone option is available in the US)
674 - HK (again, only if standalone)

Easy enough. Now here's to hoping it's somehow close to 50k

2002 E39 M5  [9.00]
The North American spec is going to be completely dependent on the packages. Many of these options will not be able to be purchased individually. I certainly understand why this is the case, but I often find the packages annoying. I wonder how many things I don't want/need I will need to purchase in order to get a back-up camera (which of course will have to be standard in all new US cars by May 2018).

If the M Driver's Package is a top-speed limiter delete I doubt it will come to the US.

That said, my ideal spec would be:
Mineral Grey
6-speed MT
Harmon-Kardon sound system
Reversing camera

Ideally, the M2 will be a car I will not want to gussy up with too many options. I imagine 1 or 2 packages will cover much of the standard kit that is not standard (power seats with memory, auto-dimming mirrors, etc.). Too bad there does not seem to be an LED headlight option.

Basically came here to post this.
I'm trying to train myself to not read the option list being posted around because I know it will have little in common to the US spec cars.

Need to resume my self control and only check this site twice a day or else the crazy takes over.

I highly doubt they will add features just for the US. So while we can't conclude what's standard / optional / packaged for the US, we do know that it will have normal seats, one trim, one wheel set, no LED, and confirm colors for the 10th time.

Yup, US will get packages. Tech pack, Prem pack, Cold weather pack. DCT will most likely be $2,900 like the M3/M4.
