The CSL will be a "Sub Brand" according to Scott26. And, If I'm reading him correctly, the CSL "sub brand" cars will look a whole lot different than the series cars they are named for.
So, IMO, no, not an M2 CSL; but, maybe, an M2 GTS mule being developed to fulfill the same role as the M4 GTS. My WAG

Let's see if we get lucky with a CSL model next year. If Porsche can have 4 Cayman models, BMW can certainly release an M2 "regular" and a CSL model.
