Nuuze's 2014 BMW M235i, H&R & Volk Racing G25
Hey Everyone,
I've been lurking here for a few weeks shortly after getting my M235i in August and wanted to share. Not my first BMW owning a 330ci, x5 and 330i in the past. I first started off my car search looking for a 2011+ e92 M3. But after viewing and test driving the few that I saw in the area, they were not the one I was looking for (color, package, condition) or did not drive like a 25k mile car should have. Then I thought about MPG since it will be a daily driver. I really didn't want another 335i since my wife already has a 2011 E90. The new M3/M4 is just too much car for a daily driver. Then one evening browsing the BMW lots I came across the M235i. I didn't even know BMW had a 2 series at that time. Came back the next day here it is 2 1/2 months later. M235i sitting on H&R springs and Volk G25 wrapped with Michelin Super Sports. Thanks to Andrew and crew at Sonic Motorsports in San Jose! Last edited by Nuuze; 01-02-2015 at 05:21 AM.. |

Thanks All! I'm liking my decision with the 2 series along with my wife's 2011 E90 335i bought in September. These our first turbo cars and I must say I been missing out on all the torque. Both the 235i and 335i just pull and pull until you let off the gas pedal. All that while still getting 24+ MPG. I look forward to driving it daily!
Always loved BMW's elegant yet simple interior. Front bumper is awesome along with the angel eyes. Least favorites I would have to say the mirrors. They're kind of big blocking view, they should have went with smaller mirrors like the previous years. Wheel and tire: 19x8 48 (face 1) - 225x35x19 front 19x9 50 (face 1) - 255x30x19 rear No clearance or rubbing issues. I was told the springs would settle in 500 miles or so but I went ahead and aligned it that day. Car looks like it is a bit lower since then. A few more pics the day I got the wheels. Here's a pic with car stock. Last edited by Nuuze; 10-15-2014 at 09:12 PM.. |

Thanks everyone!
I'm enjoying every bit of this car. The wheels gives me a grin every morning when I open the garage door. One thing that kept crossing my mind since I did not get run flats on this setup. I was told run flats could give a crappy ride vs non run flat tires. So what happens if you get a flat?! Hoping the TPMS will warn me before a tire is completely flat. I would hate to have to replace a wheel due to driving on it. So I have been looking for a spare. I came across a post here from 300f22: http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showt...php?p=16499311 Exactly what I was looking for!!! Thanks 300f22! As you can see, its a manufacture spare tire kit part #36112159860. Comes with: •1 Spare wheel and tire •1 Carry case for spare tire (not listed is a BMW tire bag inside) •1 Vehicle lifting jack •1 Ratchet for vehicle jack •1 Wheel chock •1 Pair of rubber coated gloves •1 Lug wrench •1 Case for all jack tools -I also got a wheel alignment pin. Fits nice and secure in the trunk. Best part is I can use this kit on my M235i or the E90 335i.

Large debris flew up and hit my car earlier this week during my commute to work! It was 6AM still very dark out. Happened so fast I couldn't tell if it was a large piece of tire or mud flap type.
What I could see at the time under parking lot lighting. Found more damage while talking to insurance agent.

Thanks!
Brought the car to shop and they said not to worry at all. Since the car is new they will replace everything needed. They won't know until they pull the bumper and get it on a rack. Even the wheel if needed... That's relieving to hear!

Had my car back for about a week now. Bumper had to come from Germany that's why it took so long! While it was waiting what better place to get the tint done.
SunTek Carbon 45% rear & 55% front.
