I remember that when I got my car (335i sedan M-Sport) the price was close to 45.000 including the M-Sport package. Pretty steep prices today...

Wow, thats nearly €5000 more than the equally equipped M135i
Thats a lot of money for 6 extra hp and a coupe instead of a hatch style

Go build other models and compare. Never a direct currency conversion.

This currently converts to $61,308.63 U.S. Dollars. On another thread I seem to remember the 45K figure was given as the price for the M235i in U.S. Dollars. If this is the source of the difference, what a disappointment. Way above my budget.

This is the US pricing

Launch / U.S. Pricing
2014 M235i: $44,025 (including $925 destination & handling)
2014 228i: $33,025 (including $925 destination & handling)
Arrives first quarter of 2014 - March market launch
Debuts at 2014 Detroit Auto Show in January

Believe it or not the car is more expensive in Europe :-D
They like Americans :-D

Just wait for the US configurator... other configurators will be way off in price at least compared to US prices

What is your source for this pricing? I'm not expecting the M235 to be available in the US, just for one reason: to make room for the M2 (pricing-wise). If they bring the M235, price of the M2 will go up, making it within the territories of the M3.

lol read the first post in the sticky thread above? The source is BMW..

also, the M2 is 2-3 years away (think of 1M release in e82), so yes, there is plenty of room for both models to exist.

M235i will be available on all markets.
The M2 is at least 18-24 months away. The M235i has the floor until then.

Huh? Of course the US will get the M235. Base price = $44K. Fully loaded = $55K. M2 = base of $54K, fully loaded, $66K. M3 base price $60K, fully loaded, $75K. M4 base price $63K, fully loaded $78K.

I believe you ... But $66 for M2, that hurts ... Compare that to a 1M and you will see my point
