I loved my E92 M3 DCT when I was driving the car hard. Normal driving I didn't care for the dct. My current lease is a 335iS 6spd, I removed the clutch delay valve and I like how it shifts now. I noticed in my dads F30 335xi 6spd you can't remove the clutch delay valve. This makes the trans feel too soft and lack of pedal feel, if this is the scenario for the M235 I will get the 8spd.
