Unless there is an M2 CSL,your just not going to see the carbon fiber roof for the M2.The only changes for the LCI will be LED headlights and taillights and maybe a few interior updates that the regular 2 series LCI will get IMO.

Yes,that is what I meant in regard to the LCI.Production will start for the 2018 model year in July 2017 and dealers in the US and Canada will start getting cars in September 2017.

Agreed. They're not just going to drop a CF roof on there all of a sudden.

Also expect the new iDrive system to be on there

That's a yes for me. I think it depends how you're going to use the car and where you live. In Southern California you can drive around with the windows down and the sunroof open much of the year with no need for the air conditioner. If the sun is too bright just tilt it open, it is pretty quiet even on the freeway where having the windows down is annoying. You can save a lot of gas and gain power by switching off the climate control. If you want a track car, delete away.

I mean at least offer the option for a fiber roof. Gah. I'm curious to see what will be the official US base MSRP.
DCT was offered on "IS" cars which are kind of like MPerformance variants. It wasn't the M-Drivelogic DCT but same difference. And ditto about the US pricing. I wonder if I can go dig up the timeline for the 1M between digital reveal and US pricing reveal.

Slicktop is the only way.

Save weight, prevent hassles.
Less to go wrong, better head room.

Official 1M US Pricing was revealed at the Detroit Auto Show in 2011, hopefully we see it at (or before) the same show in January 2016.
