What should I pay for a MY2014 M235i?

Hi guys, I am a long time E92 owner and I've been looking into the M235's recently. What kind of deal (purchase) should I be able to get on a 2014 M235i. Now that the 15's are out, Im sure BMW has incentives on the 14. The MSRP of the car I am interested in is $47,000. Thanks for your help guys!

I ordered my 15' Total MSRP was $46,050 ended up getting it for $41,250 so $4800 off which $500 of it was an incentive. I know they try to push the cars that are physically on the lot for way less, Back in July they had a $39,400 14' 228i Msport which I got them to $31,800 since it was about to be "left over" IMHO for a $47,000 14' should be $39,000-$40,500 especially if incentives are on your side. If they act like you're crazy, I can give you the name and number of my CA, He and his sales manager are really good

There's only a $500 incentive active now... I doubt he can pull of a <$40k... ~$42k might be more realistic.

What is the incentive? I just placed an order for an M235i this past Saturday and wasn't told of any incentives. My deal was $2900 off MSRP and that was the best I could do. I used Consumer Reports/TrueCar.com and negotiated with 4 dealerships.

Mine's not ED. The best I could do was $1500 off MSRP, until I went with the CR/TrueCar service. That got me to $2450 off with 2 of the dealerships. Then I negotiated between them and got them to price match each other and ended up at $2900 discount. That's about 6%.

Okay guys, so I went to check out the car. They had a sale price of $43,000 on the dashboard. I didn't even speak to a rep, just went to look at it. When I go in to talk to someone next time, Im thinking of wasting their time, driving the car, checking it out, then hit them with the "Im really interested and ready to buy today, what would be your best price", hear a lower price, then I'l hit them with $38,000, and in my head my final price would be $39,500-$40,000. What do you guys think?

The incentives on the 15's now are $500, but Im talking about a 2014 model. It would be really unusual if BMW is not giving rebate money to the dealerships for a 2014 (but for some reason bmwusa does not have any special offers on 2014's on their website)

Wow if you can get under 40k for a new one that would be great! Shit... Even used 2014s are in low-mid 40s on autotrader

you should be able to do around 10% off of MSRP at least. I just got my 2015 with a sticker of $49,450 for $44,650.

Can you provide a link showing the $500 incentive on 2015 cars? I don't mean to beat this to death and hijack the thread, but I just ordered a car last week, and no one mentioned any incentives. I cannot find any incentives on the BMW USA site, other than possible lease/financing deals. I am not leasing or financing the car, so do you know of any incentives on cash deals?

It's not unusual for a dealer to "build in" the discount when quoting a price. You need to specifically ask for their price not including any discounts. Whatever price you got, the $500 is in there.

It says "$500 Holiday Credit" in the special offers section of the bmwusa website. I cannot answer your question though, if it applies to a cash deal. For some reason I've been left with the expression that the Holiday Credit should be applied no matter what the payment method. Maybe someone else can chip in.

I'm also patiently waiting until they start dropping below 40s to snatch one up. I'm thinking 6-12 months from now it'll start happening on early 2014 models.
