Speeding Ticket from Germany

Hi everyone,

I just received a german speeding ticket, not too much, 35 euros. I feel like I should pay it and do the right thing but I'm having the hardest time figuring out how.

Anyone have any idea?

Thanks!

Bump.
Please somebody help this guy. As it is, we have a bad reputation in different parts of the world. No need to add more.

I got one from Switzerland, You could pay it directly online. Can't do that with the German one?

Unfortunately, I can't seem to find anywhere on their website that allows online payment. There's some banking numbers which may involve wiring money to them but now sure what that entails either. I tried reaching out to the police department who issued it and will post whatever info I find here for future reference. Germany was a great place where people seemed to go by the honor system and I want to respect that.

Just to update, I couldn't find much more info, so I signed up for a western union account and transferred the money that way to the indicated in an number. Trying to do it at a bank cost the same amount as the ticket and store branches of western union had no idea what to do.

If you still need help, I have friends that are stationed in Germany, I can ask one of them tomorrow and let you know what they say.

We had a similar problem in spain. We mailed a cheque for just over the amount to account for currency. They cashed it fine...

I wish we had 35 dollar speeding tickets here...

Seriously? Don't pay it unless you think you will be back in the same car. Chalk it up to a bit of good luck and drive safe. Not like they need your 35 euro.
