Speeding Ticket from Germany
Hi everyone,
I just received a german speeding ticket, not too much, 35 euros. I feel like I should pay it and do the right thing but I'm having the hardest time figuring out how. Anyone have any idea? Thanks! |

Please somebody help this guy. As it is, we have a bad reputation in different parts of the world. No need to add more. |

Unfortunately, I can't seem to find anywhere on their website that allows online payment. There's some banking numbers which may involve wiring money to them but now sure what that entails either. I tried reaching out to the police department who issued it and will post whatever info I find here for future reference. Germany was a great place where people seemed to go by the honor system and I want to respect that.

Just to update, I couldn't find much more info, so I signed up for a western union account and transferred the money that way to the indicated in an number. Trying to do it at a bank cost the same amount as the ticket and store branches of western union had no idea what to do.

We had a similar problem in spain. We mailed a cheque for just over the amount to account for currency. They cashed it fine...
I wish we had 35 dollar speeding tickets here... |
