In addition to many of things mentioned by others:
- moonroof delete on Sport Line (I would have even paid EXTRA for this option) - a way to program radio sound so when you restart the engine it reverts back to the volume level you had it on before you turned the car off. (Can this be done? I've looked all over and couldn't find it anywhere. Is it a coding thing? I was able to do this on my 2012 MINI.) - definitely oil pressure and collant temp gauges - a MUCH better sound system with an equalizer - tighter suspension option in Sport + - a digital speed readout (another thing I miss about my MINI) |

Basic (oil/coolent) temp gauges and a dip stick to check the oil.
I'd settle for some kind of a light on the dash that would tell me the engine is still cold. |

Fineline Pure wood option which is available in most other markets. You can order it in Canada, but not in the US.
HUD and blindspot detection. How about not limiting color options to the individual lines. If I buy a M235i, i should be able to order it in all colors. Seems odd to limit your color choices on the most expensive versions of the car. How about the ability to order individual options instead of packages. Individual program for the 2 series. |

What useful purpose does a water temperature gauge serve in a car where the electronic thermostat and electric water pump vary the water temperature over a WIDE range of temperatures depending on operating conditions? It would be completely meaningless. Gauges in all modern cars are so damped they might as well be idiot lights anyway. If the temp is too high, the computer will let you know. Time is sufficient to know that the engine is warmed up. An oil temperature gauge is more useful, but still not really all that necessary.
As for things I would like to see: Valencia Orange on M-Sport and M235i, in general more color and interior options for the M235i. That fabulous cloth interior the Europeans get for free. The ability to get a sunroof delete on a Premium Pkg 228i. A stickshift on the 228i convertible.
