When I bought my 2008 E92 BMW 335. I received 3 gifts. Year one, the sent me a carbon fiber pen. Year two they sent me a sketch of the e90, and year three a folio of the history of the 3 series. My 2011 335is I received a USB key and something else, but I don't remember exactly what it was, maybe a DVD box set that I never watched? Haven't received anything for the M235i yet.

I never got anything, but my dealer invited me + a guest to drive M cars at track. I can't complain about that!

i sent a message to customer relations through the BMW NA website. Said I haven't got my welcome kit yet. they responded the next day and apologized and said they are sending one now , allow 4-8 weeks for delivery.

Looking into this a bit further, I think they send the pen to commemorate a year (or was it two years) so of owning a car. I guess that would make sense since you received it before even ordering the F22.

No extra gifts other than what came with my ED. The black 32GB usb drive is pretty nice, being that it's 32GB. It's the one that the map data comes on.

I believe Porsche used to charge for their European delivery experience, whereas BMW offers you a discount on the vehicle most of the time. I got a 13.4% discount on my car, which retailed just over $51k.

I was talking about the maps in this case for the nav.

I know Porsche used to give a good discount for European delivery because my father did it on his 1984 944 which he picked up in November of 83 and still has with I believe 27,000 miles on it roughly. I'll have to ask him how big a discount he got when he did that.

I suppose you have to pay for it, as in you might only get it if you get the nav package... but a US delivery doesn't get a 32GB USB drive, nav or not. So, it depends on how you look at it. Nav was a given for me, so I look at it as a free gift to get to keep a fairly large USB drive.

The USB is loaded with a bunch of BMW content and links. The USB is metal and very heavy so it feels nice in hand. Hey, it's something!
