for me ive always been burned by getting all the tech packages, they seem to depreciate faster. For this one i went cold weather package and xenons and that was the extent of the packages. Dealer said that a stripped 228i will hold its value much better then a loaded one. Either way its what ever works for you in your situation. Me, I wanted a back to the basics BMW. I decided to hold off on the m235 and hope that when this lease is up the real M2 will be out

Some of these packages are totally useless the way they are configured and overpriced.
First off on a 45k car why isnt sat radio standard. Dick move Standard sound systems on these cars are junk , need to go for harmon kardon for 800 or so Leather stand alone is the only reasonable item Xenons should be standard, bmw is a premium brand last i checked Dont care for the power seats or sunroof, i had it standard on my 135i. , used it once pr twice a year- adds extra weight

I always though you can get leather standalone without the premium package. Some posts mention about only being available with premium.
Just had a buddy ordered his 228i msport with coral red leather and xenon. |

Yea leather is separate from prem. Its an 800 difference. Leather is 1400 on its own. Might as well get prem its not going to change you monthly payment all that much

BTW, I highly recommend this route if you can afford double payments for a month or 2. It shouldn't be an issue, as interest is running so low that you will get 99% of your money back after a couple of months anyways. Local dealer was offering me $27,500 on trade, he sold it on consignment for $33,000, minus a $1500 commission. $4000 more in my pocket; not insignificant. The car he sold for me previous to that was only $2000 more to me over what the dealer was offering, but hey, $2000 is still $2000. |

Should've mentioned - in the US it is a part of the Premium Package.
I test drove a non-premium M235i with the leatherette seats here in NY - no lumbar support. The 2014 335i Sport pack I test drove had the lumbar support. |

My non-premium package M235i does NOT have the ability to adjust lumbar support. It does have an adjuster for "seat width", which narrows/widens the side bolsters at your lower/mid back. Kinda nice.
