That said, I wouldn't be totally surprised if BMW moves M2 LCI up. It just announced 2018 MY changes for the U.S.-spec 4 Series and M4 simultaneously (which, by the way, are more sweeping but still incremental: new lighting, exterior tweaks, slightly revised suspension & infotainment). I can't remember how long after the current 4 Series was released that the M4 came along ... but keep in mind we waited more than two years for the M2 after the 2 Series' launch.

According to numerous sources the M2 LCI will be this year starting July 2017 production.

i always see the LCI tail lights of the 135's running around and man am i jelous- was hoping by now to get at least a hinting if that was the plan for the 2
