I can close windows with the comfort access bumps on the handle. I can open with the fob. Fob will not close and handle will not open.

Okay, you know the dial on the right side of the steering wheel that lets you scroll through radio stations? I was driving on the freeway this morning, and it had somehow set itself to Manual rather than Presets. I don't know how it got into a Manual mode, but I definitely want Presets unless I'm on a trip.

Anyway, I tried pushing the Mode button on the steering wheel to switch it to Presets, but all that did was switch to CD mode. The only thing that worked was bringing up the Presets screen on iDrive. I hope this was just a fluke and it will remember that I want Presets next time I start up the car.

Another more minor issue is that the gauge cluster doesn't show the actual radio station number, it just shows the RDS name. I'd prefer both since the names aren't really meaningful to me. I assume I'll memorize those eventually, though.

Finally, a question: given that my car has TPMS, is there any way to see the actual air pressure of the tires via iDrive? It seems like all I can find out is that one or more tires is severely low.

Do you have the tech pack? If so go to vehicle info, vehicle status, then tpms and it will show.

the wheel will do whatever you had selected on idrive...
if you left the radio on preset, it will do preset, if you left it in FM it will scroll all the radios...

Do you have rubber stems on your wheels? if so you don't have TPMS but FTM (Flat tire monitor)
mmm... not sure if you need tech package or not

Do you have rubber stems?
What do you see in Settings - Vehicle info - do you see just green or do you see actual PSI figures?

Rubber
No psi

I thought The psi was coded in?

Does this mean is cheaper for me to get tpms sensors

Unless you code the idrive it doesn't show the tire pressure with TPMS.

I have metal stems (see picture), but no tech package.

In Settings - Vehicle Info, I only see status (green), no actual PSI figures (I added a picture to show this as well).

What's the point of TPMS if it doesn't tell me the pressure? Judging from the manual, maybe TPMS is not that accurate and they don't want liability for incorrect values? Seems like lots of other cars give you this info, though.

Maybe it's because your car doesn't have run-flats?

To see a reading, I think the car has to be moving down the road for a bit.
