*mini review of AWE Exhaust w/ mid-pipe*
What a difference. MP Exhaust added little to no extra tone with windows up. The AWE Exhaust is basically everything I was hoping for. Aggressive in-cabin sound with windows up, while still being refined and bearable. Windows down and it's actually pretty loud. No drone. Very happy with sound. A quick shout out to SupremePowerParts who did the order and install. Awesome staff. Mechanic was very attentive to the details and made sure everything fit perfect with no contact. Very happy with service. Thanks guys!

5/24/15 - nothing crazy awesome, just Dinan Stage 1 and Dinan Airbox. Hoping to get a Dyno after Stage 2 installed.

Still debating. Manual or Automatic. I will I regret getting an auto for this car?

IMO, if you have no physical ailments... manual all the way. Cars are so easy to drive now that traffic isn't really a concern. I understand that the autos are faster, better at getting improved mPG etc... but it's still more fun shifting for yourself =)

I struggled with this same question before I ordered mine, I was manual all the way until it came to the last minute before I finalized the ordered and switched to auto. I think no matter which you get you'll think what if I got the other, sometimes you'll want manual sometimes you'd like auto. I miss shifting manually yes , but the 8 gear auto is very impressive , Its very fast ,responsive and will hold a gear even if your at redline like a proper sports trans should. Definitely a respectable transmission not quite a full m3 DTC but close I will say it is way easier to get more of the cars performance with the auto, but there is nothing like rowing through the gears in a rear drive BMW! I do not regret it at but most likely I'm gonna order a m2 or m3 in 3-4 years and I'll get 6speed that time around

Speaking of aesthetic mods, I think that the OEM Carbon Fiber rear spoiler (or even an aftermarket) would look awesome on the white exterior !

Also, the M Performance side sill decals (side bottom) and side stripes (which run just below the door handles, I think) would look killer on white !

my plans are
1) body colored front reflectors (ordered)
2) OEM Black kidney grill
3) MP Front spoiler
4) MP rocker decal
5) MP diffuser
6) MP Spoiler
7) CF Mirror covers
8) Dinan springs
9) Dinan exhaust
10) Black BBS CHR w/ silver lip (maybe)

This is my inspiration... but I don't have nearly the amount of $$ necessary for that exact look =/

OP, to be completely honest, I like your car in stock form much more than the proposed photo. Just beautiful. My build will be very similar. But I am doing Terra over Coral Red. It is a close call though.

yeah? what about the car in the photo turns you off? I'm still bouncing around a few wheels, BBS CHR in black with silver lip or gunmetal/anthracite VMR 705s
