Emissions Inspection w/ Catless DP

Hi all, I'm wanting to do a JB4/Catless DP combo but am required to pass annual emissions inspections (southwest PA). However, all that is required is an ODB scan and not a visual inspection.

Will the JB4 cover up the fact that I'm running Catless and fool the test or is there no way around it?

If I'm not mistaken if you leave the jb4 on it ll just show that the sensor is "not ready" and you won't pass that's why I went catted so I don't have to deal with that btw I'm in RI we do inspections every two years

Remove and put back the factory DP, and remove the JB4 power Drive atleast 50 miles before sticker.

Thats why a lot of people are getting ECU Flash by/from reputable tuner, their CEL delete from software will show readiness for inspections!

I was in your same situation with jb4 and catless downpipe. I tried looking for a tune that would do a downpipe fix but it was only available on the n54. I eventually had to switch back to the stock downpipe and do the drive cycle to get the o2 sensors ready for smog. Passed with no problems. Make make sure you set the jb4 to map 0 so the obd port can read.

Jb4 hides the code, it does not get the car to illegally pass emission.
Your best bet would be to remove the DP once a year

Just be careful when you swap out the DP, them Bi*ches be hot! That upper v-band clamp bolt can be real PIA at 700+ degrees
