Service mileage fault

Help please,

Hi all, I recently had my car serviced and when I left the garage it stated that I had 10000 miles to the next service or one year.
I have driven approximately 6 miles and the vehicle is now saying I have 1300 miles until the next service which the car has now schedule for 2 years.
Any help and guidance would be greatly appreciated.

What was the service you had done? And was it at a BMW dealer? I would take it back - it may be a glitch in resetting it or they disconnected the battery?
