Angry How to remove this positive cable guide when changing valve cover?

Ugh. I'm in the process of changing the valve cover on my 2016 F23, and I'm stumped how to remove the plastic guide for the positive terminal cable that is bolted to the valve cover.
The top of this is easy (the red circle in the photo), but can I remove the bottom (red square) too? How?
Can I remove the valve cover while leaving this in place? I'd rather remove it if I know how. Cant find it in IStA or in realoem (what is is called? part number?)

Thanks!

Forgive me because I know this doesn’t directly answer the question, but do you need to disconnect the positive terminal to work on the valve cover? I would think just disconnecting negative would be sufficient, no?

not on the battery - under the hood.

its not the positive terminal on the battery, it is the positive terminal under the hood, the cable for which is routed over the top of the valve cover on the M235i

Oh duh, now I see. Thank you for clarifying! Unfortunately that I do not know how to answer.

I just did this last weekend on my 2016! That guide just snaps down onto the top of the valve cover bolts, you just need to pull up on it to pop it off (after you've removed the top bolt you highlighted).

This was a helpful video, and I have it set to start at the spot you're looking for:
