What should I get first?

Not sure which one I want to do first. I'm leaning towards intake. Thanks for the feedback.

Personally I have a hard time rationalizing paying that much for the MP Muffler when it doesn't even give any performance gains. I voted for intake although the MP diffuser is a close second.

Intake or exhaust. I like the Remus exhaust too. Decisions decisions.

When you don't have the funds to get all the parts at once then I go for what I will see and touch first. The interior was the most important to me since I see it everytime I drive the car. Performance gains should be second, I did the JB4 and Intake and just now getting the MPE. Exterior cosmetics should be the last thing since it is a vanity thing to show everyone else what you have. Best to do that after you have the "talk the talk" with performance upgrades.

For fun, the MPE.

HOWEVER…if you're going to do the rear diffuser eventually, you will need the longer tailpipes/kit for your MPE.

If you get the MPE 1st, you will have stupid looking long tail pipes OR you will have to replace the tailpipes when you later get your diffuser, wasting money. If you can get diffuser & MPE done at same time, that would be best. Otherwise start with the diffuser.

I would also get the engine stuff done while the weather's good and you can run your car. Play with the interior when it's rainy outside and you won't be driving as hard.

So:

1) Diffuser
2) MPE
3) Intake
4) Interior

The MPE comes with or without adapters specifically to address whether you have the diffuser or not, so that is not an issue at all.

Poll choices are incomplete. I vote for the overhead fanshaft.

Intake for sure, I've got both that and the MPE and on top of the little performance gain from the intake.. it's also the constant spooling sound that becomes VERY audible with an intake that makes me giddy every time I get on the throttle.

Looks like the intake is about $500? And am I seeing this right? +8 HP and + 25 TQ from the intake? That's pretty good.

I have a problem believing an intake adding any more than 5hp. Most only add 2 or 3. To me intakes are just to allow air to flow more freely. Works best with a tune and exhaust.

Yeah maybe with a tune, but someone here had their car dynoed with the air box completely removed and it showed no gains over stock.

If you want to really heard the turbos, go with the intake. If you want to have a better driver experience in terms of materials and visuals as a driver, Mperf interior. Rear diffusor i would do at the same time as the M perf exhaust, both of which help as well.

The guy in the link I posted earlier along with his dyno chart was without a tune, peak power was +8HP and +25TQ which is hard to believe I agree, but its right there so I believe it.

http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=981972

From the thread, they tested with and without the hood closed and got similar results.

Far from conclusive. I have seen jumps in dyno runs on the same car with no change to anything. One run on different days?...not buying it. But seriously, it is not to say it is useless, just that I wouldn't buy it expecting it to throw you back in your seat all of a sudden.

I wish I had the patience to dig up the thread where they did the dyno run with an open air box to see what they did.
