Sadly, doesn't look like it. Typing in my VIN reports no records found. I'll try to follow up with a rep today to see if it's still waiting at the port.

It does look like there are ships leaving today and tomorrow though, so hopefully I can get on one of those two. Otherwise there's a long delay until next week.

Dealerships get their allocations at the beginning of the month and they usually have a guy in charge of customizing any unsold inventory coming in. You probably got one of those allocations that was already pre-spec'd and it'll take a few days for the system to track the new changes to the build.

My first BMW order was a mineral white 335is and on the website for a week it showed a 335i, black sapphire, etc...

Hmm interesting; mine says en-route to US but still showing the sport line and not the M-Sport. However, I did call and got the last 7 of the vin; and that did come up with M-Sport, so I guess I'm in the clear.

Remove the car and re-add it.

I had to do this to see the correct options on my car.

Did it a few times; but still shows the Sport Line (instead of the M-Sport).

However, I do have the last 7 of the vin and after running that on BMW-Archive, it does show the correct options, so I'm happy.

One question you guys may be able to help me with; I have the "S840A High speed synchronisation." Does this mean I have the staggered summer tire set up?

In summary, from new order/allocation to final delivery was exactly 9 weeks. This included some weird allocation moves associated with reserving and then canceling PCD.

Ordered 6/6 and claimed a car that was scheduled for production the following week, entered production on time and scheduled completion 6/19. I'm in Seattle and expect it about first week in August. Got one of the last 2015s since it fit my desired timeline.

If it's a fresh build or not past the port yet, it can be added. It gets installed at the U.S. port of entry. You can add any factory performance parts and roll it into the lease. I just told them when I gave my build specs that I wanted the MPE. There was no hesitation on their end. The exhaust ends up costing something like $15/mo over a 36 month lease. When lease is up if you turn in the car, they sell it to someone else with exhaust installed.

I ordered a 2016 in late June and it's in production right now, estimated to be complete by 7/11/2015. It all depends on the allocation your dealer had, for example, a July allocation versus an August allocation. You can call the 1-800 # if you have your production # and talk to a customer relations person for more details regarding production times and estimates.
