Ours is the best

The m240i is the best you can get.

I just finished reading an article about the 1M.
Lovely. If you can fit comfortably inside one.

I barely can’t, so the driving experience doesn’t really matter.
It’s like those people who say Miata is always the answer.
It’s not. GR86 / BRZ is the answer, because I don’t fit in a Miata, either, and those other two drive as well or better while also leaving room for a pack of gum.

Meanwhile, some people say the 240 falls short of the M2.
For me, it doesn’t. Not on the street. It’s just as fast (or barely faster) on any road that actually takes you somewhere. And it has adjustable dampers that make every road more enjoyable.

I’ll concede that we need to add the M-LSD to the M240i to really make this case, but once you do that, I think you have the better all around fun practical “sports car.” And for 10 grand less. I do like the M2’s wider hips, though.

In the end, when I look around (and I always do), there’s still nothing else I want more (which is scary, because I’m always shopping for my next car).

I love this car.

Essentially if you want a small RWD coupe with a 0-60 of 4 and a bit seconds, space for 4 people and boot space for a decent price, then in the UK it’s a used M240i or nothing 😂

I prefer the look of the M240i over the M2, and for the price difference, the increase in performance wasn’t worth it!

I do wish the dash etc was a bit more up to date, but not to the extent of the new one with a single screen and no gear shifter?!

I also keep an eye on the market, and it keeps on moving away from me.

Everything else I consider as a replacement and am willing to pay for is significantly heavier (mine's 3,432# with 5 gals. fuel), is going to cost me quite a bit of money out of pocket (at least as much as I'd get for my car), and isn't really going to do more for me than the car I already have.

This one continues to be a keeper.

Garage List
I've been contemplating a lot about the F22 and the G42 version. They both have the B58 Engine. But frankly speaking, barely any car beats the classic compact BMW F22 look .

Not

The F22 vs the G42 aint the same car. I had both and went back to F22. G42 seems so much heavier and bigger to drive.
Funny though I am thinking about going to the 3 series which the G42 is similar in my onion.
