Agreed. It looks great, I don't even mind the headlights in that render

agreed....quickly becoming a diluted brand with shrinking exclusivity...sad to see
For me, exclusivity is overrated and they're not exclusive in any event. I drive a BMW for the drive and as long as they continue to make good driving machines, then I'll stay with them even if every Dick, Tom, Harry and their respective cats drives one as well. The world would be a much happier place if more people drove BMWs!

So many E8x-drivers changed their mind on the F20 after seing it IRL, or with M, or even after driving it. Some just won't admit it, because they don't wanna look weak after chaning their mind from "hating" to "liking" afterwards.

I agree. I think the 2 series will be slightly different.

Why don't you guys who don't like the F20 M Sport front do some retouching on your computers and post suggestions for what it should look like? That could be interesting.

I was actually going to do that myself, but then I saw the M Sport front, and that pretty much solved it for me. The headlights finally made sense.

I tried just for fun to retouch one of the headlights on my own car. I don't have Photoshop, so it was difficult to get it nice, but you get the idea. Did you like the revised headlight (on the left) better than the regular one?

Being someone who would have prefered different headlights 1-1,5yrs ago, I have to say I prefer the original.

I am monitoring the 2014 Audi TT redesign which will be slightly larger and a direct competitor for the 2 coupe. So if BMW fails short, I need a back up.

I must say the original looks better.

can't wait to see this, but really can't imagine M235i to have more cylinders than M2

Instead of fucking around with new names and niche marketing, I wish BMW would just make the cars do what they are supposed to for the money.

I'm fed up with DCT issues, brake issues and a never ending list of irritating complaints all of which go unresolved by BMW's allegedly trained dealers.

I like your revision better... I think the width (as you must have though) closer to the grill is hte visual que that had people tilt their head

1.... I think M's of the future will have a better power / weight ratio due to CRP panels... I ca see a 6 in a lower model and a 4 in M

2. I would gamble that 240i, 440i and 640i will have a visual DNA carryover as these models will be more distinguished from wagon, hatch , grancoupe, and sedan versions at their level in the lineup

Yes. From the US where no one has actually seen the car in person. Funny how that works isn't it ? The headlights really don't look bad at all when you see then in person, which you probably will eventually.

You mean like the original e30 with 4 cyl 318, the 6cyl 325 and the S14 4 cyl in the M3?

Yeah. No way they would ever put fewer cylinders in an M car. Lol.
