So far so good, the car is running great and it was definitely very easy working with him on this deal. Once I provided the pics that it was installed my $$ was promptly refunded. No issues whatsoever.

I'm planning to go with the VRSF DP's with JB4.

Any problems so far? As far as day to day driving?
Is E85 a necessity??

Good to know, I just recommended a set to a local guy who recently picked up a 235. I can't believe it's included free, most shops charge a couple hundred to ceramic coat pipes.

I think I read that the m2 has some slight changes to fitment. At least that what one of the DP manufactures said

Double check before you buy

Sure it does fit, but something constituted a different DP from the 235. Maybe just a marketing thing so they can charge real //M prices

I decided to take Tiago from VR Speed Factory up on his DP offer. Heres a short write up with some pictures and a short sound clip....

Quality: Arrived well packaged. Very nice with very nice quality welds and clean bends.

Fitment: Great. I had the DP installed today by Gil (e46m3lol here on 2addicts). From his view, everything fit well and there were no issues. Although space was tight up there, nothing was touching each other. If you need any sort of install and/or parts contact him. He's a jack of all trades and works on a lot of modified cars here in the LA/OC area.

Sound: I understand this is a VERY subjective topic, we all have similar mods, however I'm currently running without a muffler so my car is loud and even louder with the DP on. Its a deep rumble that I think sounds awesome at WOT. I can deal with the drone ( I do not DD it) but at some point do intend on toning it down a bit/refining my exhaust note. Video below. So far everyone that has heard it in person likes it. (At least they say they do lol)

Here's the car being fired up for the first time after the DP was installed...

Overall impression: I'm very happy with the product and after reviewing VRSF and their products I felt safe enough being what looks like their first F22 DP customer. Its only been a day of driving so Ill keep you guys posted on my thoughts. Drove roughly 150 miles today total...no hiccups or check engine lights. Throttle response definitely seemed a bit sharper.

1. Box Shot: Fast Shipping and nicely packaged

Heres a shot of the stock DP...

02 sensor socket...

VRSF DP vs OEM DP

Stock DP removed...

VRSF DP installed...

Overall the transaction from start to finish went very well. Prototype fit and finish where great and everything is running smoothly.

Does it fit Xdrive models as
Well?

I noticed that there are no support brackets in this downpipe. Does that put additional strain on the exhaust manifold?

Nope. If anything the DP itself would be the weak link, but never seen or heard of such an issue with any DP sans support bracket. Unless poor materials/welding job, maybe, but these guys are legit.

Got mine on fits great and the sound with the stock exhaust is awesome! One note is that there are two clips holding down the rear o2 sensor wire. I was trying to figure out why the cat didn't want to come out and realized the wire was still held in.

Also for the alignment you can mount the dp to the turbo with the vband loose and still be able to rotate it to line up the mid pipe.

The vband at the trurbo is a pain to get free. I ended up using a small flat blade just between the band (as a wedge) and the pipe and giving it a gentle tap. The band popped right off.
