Indeed it is. But having seen LBB in person multiple times, I cannot tell the difference between LBB and AB from the pictures. They are very similar looking.

The answer is absolutely yes for me. I think the wheels will make the car, I'm not even a giant fan of 5 spoke wheels or black wheels (they're not even black, more like really dark gunmetal)

If the wheels in the pic are gunmetal, they look good with Atlantis Blue

This is what BMW calls "black". Definitely not how I'd describe it at all, even after seeing them IRL:



Just like LBB of course, the lighting conditions really affect how they look. But they definitely aren't your typical gloss black powdercoated looking wheels.

I've found the color of the car makes a big difference too. On a white car, they look really dark, on darker colors, they don't contrast as much, so they look more grey.

The huge upside of the dark wheels is that it makes the polished portion really pop. Looks like you're rolling on razor blades; a lot like the M220.

there Is that thread now with all three cars including YAS marina Blue......

my personal opinion is that photos showing all 3 together leaves YMB as looking the 'worst' in my book.. ie.. it's my least favorite of the three..

Agree though that unless they are side by side... Atlantis and LBB are similar

Yea, I absolutely love the almost 2 tone look it's got. Personally, I'd stick with the 18" wheels if I ever got an M3 because there's a high chance I'd go aftermarket anyway. But if BMW want to make the 19" black 437 on the M2, I'm definitely not complaining.

Not to mention it'll hide the brake dust a bit better. Hate washing wheels!

Totally agree. YMB is far down the list of blues in the BMW catalog... So many good blues.. and even LBB is kinda disappointing to me personally.. I much favor a deep blue like Orient Blue or Interlagos Blue.. Since LBB isn't in my wheelhouse.. my fave M2 color is black.

I'm betting the black 19s appear on the M2 as well.

I was talking to a bunch of guys on M3f about what Individual colors I'd want if I went with an F80. My top 3 choices at the moment are Atlantis Blue, Fire Orange and Purple Silk. Can you tell I'm desperate for a loud color?

An LBB M2 suits my needs almost perfect, and BMW will only charge me $550 (instead of paying $5k for Individual).

Speaking of which, did BMW charge for Valencia Orange and Black Sapphire on the 1M?
