This is new to me. I've never owned a car that draws so much attention. I felt a bit uncomfortable at first, wondering why all the staring. At first I thought maybe I was dragging a gas pump hose, or something.

Oh yeah, new car. A somewhat rare new car. Heh!

No stares, but out of five BMWs this is the one people compliment and comment on.

No...dont think its noticed at all. Every other car is a BMW around here..so soon as you see the Kidneys its like ho hum!

No stares where I live. Every other car on the road is a BMW! This town is filled with them along with Range Rover, Audi, Lexus, and a tonof Maseratis, there's a couple of Bentelys and lots of Mercedes. Just another BMW on the road around here

I usually get a thumbs up from other drivers. Others have asked what year my car is.

What I find weird is when random people ask what "the monthly" is for my car.
Don't they understand the variables behind a monthly payment?

i have had the same comment saying why have you put a number 2 on a one series and two off them were from 1 series ower's.

I've had more stares with car for sure. The M Perf kit is eye candy though.

Yeah, I do get the stares. But it has nothing to do with the car. But life's not fair, so I've learned to live with the adoration.

Today a guy walked around my parked car as I was walking out from a store and gave me two thumbs up. As I drove by his 335i he started shouted M M M.... FTW

haha thats funny. I get some love from pedestrians, but usually its other drives. In miami there are plenty of porsches, maserati, RR, Bent, F/L -Cars, so there is plenty to look at, but occasionally one of those drivers will give me thumbs up and actually show what they got. This would never happen in my 3-series. It's nice to be able to hang with those kind of cars and there are just too many of them down here.

Personally I think the 2 series is miles better looking than the 1 series. The 1 series does not look like a BMW to me.

I always get people asking me to start it up and rev the engine. There are alot of BMW's in my city though so most people just look at it with contempt haha.

When i park it at the dealer for whatever reason i get tons of people looking at it though. To bad there are no EB's left :P

On the commute this morning, a 7 series pulled in behind and tracked me for several miles, just off my right rear corner.

I don't notice any more staring than my last ride but when folks do comment on it there is more of that first time they have seen it tone and they really want to convince me they think its a nice car, they are not just saying it. Comes off more sincere and genuine.

I've noticed it here and there but the biggest one was right when I bought my car, I caught a guy behind me at a stop light taking a picture of my car with his cell phone.

I've also had someone taking a pic of my car in traffic with their cell. Thought it was pretty weird, but felt kinda good. Definitely helps that the car is EB

In my experience it mostly depends on the appearance of a given car. For example. If you have a white car with black wheels, tinted, modded, with small hints of personalization ie. carbon fiber lip, etc, people will notice the car quite a bit more. A plain car will not get much notice.

My car was completely stock literally a few miles off the lot when I bought it when someone was taking a picture.

I do get more looks now with the dark gray Breyton wheels and the M Perf exhaust turns some heads too.

Was torn between EB or coral red interior. I don't think they look good together, so I went with coral red and MG. I really do love EB though haha
