I think closing the windows is also already enabled by default for Canadian cars, the only comfort access feature not enabled is the mirror folding.

Along with mirror folding I would say some of the better features to code are:
- Seat moves back and door open and moves forward and engine start (helps save the fragile dakota leather)
- Disable the nags (iDrive operation, PDC, etc)
- Radio/Nav off with door open
- Digital Speed in Cluster (it's small but kind of nice to toggle through along with the other BC options)
- Change lane-change indicator flashes

Congrats!! You're gonna love the car. It's so small and nimble. The handling is very good and not to mention the interior stuff, it's got a touch of class while keeping it simple.

Even with the B46 motor you're gonna love the power it produces. Can't wait to see pics! Get ready to read every page in the owners manual online & watch hundreds of 2 series videos......

Really?? Didn't test it out... I was playing with the windows down today and it worked well, must test the windows up............

I'm on a 2014 model so it's possible the default has changed on newer models. I do find that sometimes opening and closing the windows with the remote doesn't work, it might take several attempts.

I placed an order for an M240i on July 23. All I've been able to get out of my SA is that the build month will be September and that delivery is likely to be in mid-October. No more info (build week, VIN, etc.) will be available until the beginning of September, according to him. I don't want to keep bugging him if this is true, or even if it's just not part of his job to be a tracking service. But it is frustrating that I can order a bulk pack of a Bounty from Amazon and get immediate up-to-the-minute tracking on it, while for a $65K vehicle I have to wait in the dark for weeks on end.

Any experiences or advice from others who've gone through this?

Yes, I placed my order on May 9th, was told I'll get a June build and did not receive the VIN from my CA until June 7th, then I was able to follow the vin on bmwvin.com and finally on June 15th it showed it went into production on the same day.

I took ownership of my car July 28th. Hope this helps for you.

To close the windows/sunrroof place and hold your finger on the top ridges of the handle. If you lift off the finger, it will stop closing. Oh and not to mention, it will only work if you have the key fob on you when doing it! Give it a try

I was given rough estimate of late November because I missed the August production according to my dealer.
Haven't heard back from him whether the order has been placed yet.
Looks like most dealers care less about their customers after the deal is closed

Yeah I put down a deposit which was deducted from my first month payment.

You might have been allocated to early Sept production week. Mine will be late Sept or even early Oct production, so it will be the end of Nov for me.
