My M240i finally arrived!

It's been a long wait - I ordered it 23 January of this year and just picked it up Saturday.

Here is a few shots of it back home where I live:

My only gripe is that when I ordered they weren't able to get me the bi color wheels with the performance tires, so I opted for the all season run flats ... without realizing that this also meant that I'd be getting 7.5x18 on all 4 with 225 tires, not 7.5 front 8 rear.
Rounding a couple of curves I'm very used to, doesn't seem to have the same grip as my 330Ci ZHP with it's 255 in the rear.

So think I'll be swapping out the wheels and tires as the first thing, as much as I love how the bi color wheels look.

Was thinking of

BEYERN RITZ Gloss Gunmetal with Brushed Face (18" x 8.5", +35 Offset, 5x120.65 Bolt Pattern, 72.6mm Hub)
PILOT SPORT PS2 Tires (93617) by Michelin®. 225/40ZR18
BEYERN RITZ Gloss Gunmetal with Brushed Face (18" x 9.5", +45 Offset, 5x120.65 Bolt Pattern, 72.6mm Hub)
PILOT SPORT PS2 Tires (45327) by Michelin®. 255/35ZR18

I like the bi-color look of these wheels. And the price wasn't too awful.

Beautiful..the long wait will be worth it. Mine is on the boat off the coast of Mexico, heading north. I ordered in late March.

Congrats! I hear you on the wheels, I love the design of the 719M bi-colored wheels but feel that even the 8" rears are at least an inch too skinny...not proportionate with the body. I went with some BBS CHR's. Very happy with these wheels. Go wheel and tire shopping pronto! 7.5" rear...pathetic!

I you don't like wheels poking out past the fender I'd look into different sizes. That size rear is like putting a 26mm spacer on the 8" rim, it'll be poking out past the fender. Not sure about the front.

Yes, looking at it from the rear, the wheels do seem to small. I feel like I have more power yet less grip, not a good combo!

I took a look through threads on here about that.

This one was pretty good:

Did you have a different experience?

Worried now, didn't realize this. I ordered the same wheels but with non run flat performance tires. Are they going to be 7.5s in the rear as well?

Update...nevermind, found the specs and the non-RFT are 8" rears

You're going to poke a bit with those specs. I have Apex EC-7's 18 x 8.5 + 45 and 18 x 9.5 + 58 with 5mm spacers all around and I definitely wouldn't want 8mm more poke out back! I have 255 PSS on the rear and am pretty flush. Can probably squeak by with 265's when these are toast.

And damn, 5 months??!!

Congrats on getting one before Trump slaps a 20% tariff on them.

Congratulations on its finally arriving - that was quite the wait!

OT, but...that's a nice layer of fog over the City in that first shot. Are you living on TI?

I had a similar brain fart. I ordered the black wheels on mine and had my dealer spec out all-season tires (not an option when you build online). Didn't realize at the time that all-season meant run flat and that I wouldn't be getting the raised top speed limiter or the mobility kit. I was thinking the wheel size was still staggered though... I hope I'm right. Mine just got off the boat. We'll find out this weekend. Pretty pumped!

You might want to consider Michelin ps4. Better tire and ps2 is getting ( if not already) discontinued so might be hard to get if a blowout , etc. down the road.
