You guys need to realize that a good intercooler is going to bring that temp down dramatically anyway.

Even if you bring air that's a few degrees cooler, the air makes contact with the turbocharger which is touching your exhaust manifold so you deal with the residual heat. The air is then compressed which also raises it's temperature significantly. The reason any of these intakes make most of their power on the top end of the RPM range is simply because the OEM intake can not breathe as well as an open cone filter. Sure you're sucking in a bit of warmer air but the added airflow will always outweigh pulling in air that's a couple degrees cooler with the same airflow restriction.

Still waiting for you second dyno run to see what difference you get with the new mods. I know it will still be JB4 Map 1 so it won't be the 400 HP monster you are striving for just yet.

I know - I am trying too! EAS is over an hour away from me, so its hard to make time for that with different schedules between both parties. I am always waiting for the ER FMIC too .

Nothing on the dyno and nothing on the FMIC yet. Deciding on if I should do a dyno now and do it again with the FMIC, or just do it altogether.

Map 2 is not available for our cars yet.

We have an electronic wastegate which requires a special harness. BMS has not released the harness to run Map 2 yet.

Did my first 200+ mile road trip with my JB4 and aFe intake. Averaged 33.4 mpg running mostly ECO Pro mode and some Comfort mode. Car in breathing very well now.
