Incorrect installation of PDC Sensors?

I recently had to have the front bumper replaced (don't ask) and overall it looks like they did a good job. The panel alignment and paint matching is excellent. But, the two central park-distance sensors look strange to me now. It's like they are angled upward/level with the ground instead of flush with the downward sloping surface of the bumper, and then the outer ring piece is molded somehow. Maybe I'm imagining things - would someone please compare yours to this picture?

The retainer for the sensor appears to be installed correctly (see pic). I would be more concerned that they didn't paint the sensor.

Thanks for the comparison check guys, the retainer piece for those two must be that way by design then. I hadn't noticed before and was thinking either bad install or that they got bent from the damaged bumper in the first place.

Haha, it is painted correctly (or probably left alone and reinstalled in the new bumper) it's just the reflection on the shiny surfaces making a lot of contrast in this picture. The sensor face is catching something bright across the street and the rest of the bumper is reflecting the ground.

I can swing by tomorrow at the airfield and you can compare with my car. Look for a AW M2351 with front and rear MP spoilers. Will be there around noon at the 2-227th hangar parking.

The sensors are supposed to point in straight ahead. The little twisted surface allows it to match with the bumper. If they pointed down too far you'd just be picking up the ground the whole time.

They are all like that.

Ah, thanks man! But I am on leave at the moment visiting family out west. We will have meet up at Cars and Coffee some time.
