sounds like balance to me, my tyre guy jokes with me about my ability to feel imbalances, he always says "your probably the only one who would have noticed that"

I always have my tires balanced every season, between summer and winter tyres.

I did some coding on my car

Video in Motion
Door handle lights come on when in reverse
Lowered the duration of seat belt chime from 100 to 90 seconds (and going to monitor it)

used bimmercode

Same story for me. Been rainy here in MN since yesterday afternoon. I have to venture out in a little bit for kids sports and have to bring the 240. Hopefully the rain is done!

Safe travels! Its floor warnings out here in Chicagoland. Had to take the F30 since it’s basically lifted.

Oh dang. You must have gotten some serious rain. Nothing like that here unfortunately. Our lawns and lakes really need the wet.

Went for a drive with my fairly clean vert and managed to find a road that turned to gravel. But to the wife I said , "Its OK the road is still damp from the rains so no dust cloud". All was well until I found the hidden hole full of dusty water, sploosh, all over the drivers side of the car. Dang it now I have to wash it.

Swapped out the original PCV diaphragm the other day. Idled in the car with the A/C on for about an hour when the car started screeching with white smoke billowing out of the exhaust.

Broke the cap trying to take it off but the aftermarket cap that I got off Amazon is working just fine. Even idles smoother now with no vibrations.

I handwashed my car yesterday and dang the thing is way cleaner and shinier than when I take it to my regular carwash. I was meaning to apply the Meguiars Car Show Glaze but ran out of time. I really like that stuff along with their mist n shine product.

What do people use for a tire shine product? I have been using Black Magic tire wet but not liking the outcome. It doesn't last long, and it runs. Maybe I'm doing it wrong but have not been pleased with any application I have made.

Finally got a turbo inlet to fit on the M240i today.

That silencer box really did its job. Sounds like I have a t51r mod on it.

I’ve heard that tire shine products are not good for the rubber, I think just clean matte looks good

CARPRO DARKSIDE has been fantastic and lasts about 3 months in ideal conditions my experience. I'd say about half as long under winter conditions. The hydrophobic properties look sooo nice too

Gave her a 2 pass polish and wax. Didn't turn out too bad for a whitey.

See also in the background cool Dodge Demon I think it is.

Changed the cabin air filter. It took about 45 minutes from start to finish. It looks easy but I’m going to be paying for it with back pain tomorrow. I found it difficult because it’s hard to see what you’re doing unless you can lie down and twist underneath. I had the tools (just a 10mm socket and a T20 Torx bit and a light) but the clearances are tight and I had to go find a shorter wrench and bit handle. Bending the filter to get it in and putting the trim pieces back was fiddly. I always do these things myself since I’ve had yahoos break trim or strip threads in the past but I may be paying someone to do it next time. They charge an hour of labor for this around here. YMMV.

I've never had any problems with tyre shine.

I've used multiple products on multiple cars over 40 years, the only hazzard to tyres I'se come across are screws on driveways

I need to get a trunk lip/spoiler for my car. Now that I have the front splitter installed I am feeling floatiness in the rear end when accelerating hard and braking hard. There is also a side to side pulling feeling at times. Apparently the note from BMW saying "only use the front splitter in conjunction with the M Performance spoiler" was for good reason not just marketing speak to sell more things?

Can't speak for every car but spoilers and splitters should only be barely noticeable at high speeds (track/illegal highway) and not city road speeds.

Maybe Msendit can chime in on his findings with that massive GT wing.

I was quickly accelerating up to about 65/70 MPH on a big highway so nothing crazy. Your comment makes me think I should edit my post so folks don't think I was going nutz.

I haven't experienced this behavior before so assume it is the change in having the splitter on.
