Hi Ska,

No, but thank you for your offer. I've played the shell game several times with Tulley, Herb Chambers, and New Country. The pendulum is clearly on the side of the dealership with respect to pricing (not news to us). I think a lease assumption may be a win win for both parties.

Oops, looks like you edited your comment, and my response doesn't make as much sense now. Still, thank you for your original offer.

Would be strange for a lease assumption. The first M235i delivery was March 1 so the oldest car on the road is about 90 days.

It looks like you just want a $4000 discount on the car, aka the money down. Hahaha.

The actual story is less opportunistic than that. One of my colleagues came to me to see if I was interested in assuming his F30 335xi lease, but it wasn't a good fit - the monthly payment was beyond my reach, and I have my heart set on the M235i. The conversation did give me an idea, and I posted this thread the same day.

Which state you located? I assume you are looking for Zero down but will pay 7 MSD upfront.
The figure you want for $550 a month is it include your state tax or without your state tax? Are you going to pay for Lease Application fee?

It is very doable,.. :-)

I'm in NH. Preferably no money down. Fortunately, I'm not subject to a state tax. To cut to the chase, I'd split on the app fee.

I'm prob doxxed now but what the hey!

Hi Maxx,

That is an awesome car you have there, and it was a great idea to post the lease opportunity to the forum.

With respect to what I'm looking for personally, a manual transmission is a minimum requirement.

Your car is immaculate. Good luck with your swap, and thanks for the heads-up.

Sucks you can't get a local dealer (or a dealer within a few hours drive) to do a deal for what you want. I recently did a lease on pretty what you are looking for at $518 + tax per month, 33 months 10k/year. Manual, Tech, HK, Premium, Parking Asst. If a dealer in California could do it, theres no reason someone on the east coast can't.
