But..... is there any reason for a BMW fan to visit geneva?

Audi: new R8
Mercedes: AMG GT GT3, s class pullman
Porsche: Cayman GT4, 991 GT3 RS (?)

BMW: 2 series Grand Tourer

No M2 Concept
Did u see the VW group unveiling at Geneva, now that was serious enthusiasm.

Cayman GT4, Lambo Aventador SV, r8 V10. The last and most powerful Veyron, Audi station wagon concept and finishing with the Bentley concept. Now that's what I call an Enthusiast's lineup. And oh by the way, we have the GT3RS out there too......

BMW is boring and predicable now, and I have had and still own several. Such a shame.....really great company becoming a mainstream player. : the new VW soon.

Thumbs down

This is the ugliest BMW ever made. What are they thinking. it's really sad that EVERY decision they make is now based on the Chinese liking. BMW+future= The end of great cars.

Good idea, but...

I think it is worth the effort and is a stand out from the other Germans. I just wish that they had considered some details more carefully.

The car does not have an A/C delivery system for the 3rd row which is not acceptable for hot climate markets. Also, the entry and exit from the 3rd row is a bit of challenge.

Finally, I suspect based on the 2' AT, the standard equipment will be a poor in a class where customers expect great value for money.

I don't like where BMW has gone with front wheel drive but you are wrong with your thoughts on BMW standards.

Your ideals are full of contradiction. If BMW becomes like VW it will have the resources to make such a selection of high-end cars... cars like the Aventador and R8V10, the Bentley Concept, probably would not exist if it weren't for VW's mainstream cash cow models.

Here, have a graph... It should demonstrate how the Volkswagen Group can have so many top end cars, and why BMW NEEDS a more diverse accessible portfolio of cars...
