AEM M235i intake?

Has anyone tried the AEM intake for our cars? curious how it sounds and if anyone has cell issues or driving problems. It looks like it’s fully enclosed as well for $250. I have a injen intake that been sitting in my garage for 6months because my car runs like shit with it. I love the way it sounds so I put it back on once in a while thinking that my car might have changed it’s mind about running like shit because the sounds are amazing.....but no it still hates the intake. I’d like to find something permanent that sounds good and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. The drop in filter just isn’t cutting it.

Dinan is tried and true, id recommend getting one or just using stock air box with a drop in filter.

Unless you go to things over $1K, Dinan or stock imo.

Sold a few but haven't heard any feedback yet. I'll update if anyone tells me anything good or bad.

Doesn't the afe offer a sealed box or partially sealed box that doesn't throw a cel. The pro dry or the magnum force or something?

Partially sealed and the savings aren't worth it IMO.

The stock intake isn't terrible. Just get an AFE drop in filter for like $50 or go Dinan. Past that once you get into the $1000+ stuff I don't think the performance gains are worth the extra. It's engine bling at that point.

I had the jb4 on with the maf unplugged but it still had issues. Wasn’t as bad but still Had issues . Plus the check engine light suppression not being available anymore puts a damper on that method. I did read that people didn’t have issues with the cts intake it’s kind of weird looking though. Haha

We sell a lot of CTS intakes, not even one CEL issue.

It looks great in person btw
