Hey Everyone. I was able to successfully add digital speedometer in the BC and M Performance logo too. In doing so, my fuel consumption gauge switched from KM/L to MPG. I own a Canadian BMW and I'd like to have KM/L instead.

Also, I noticed M2 Cluster have digital clock on the right corner of the cluster. Can we code in the M235i/ M240i cluster?

Im installing an HK setup in my m235i that I got for a very reduced price.

Can someone with an hk setup share their audio_system_cic value and the audio_system_var option value? Is there anything else that I need to code before I swap in the amp and the speaker setup? Thanks.

You could also just VO code vehicle with change audio system SA code.

Thanks for the response! I changed my car from 6NH to 6NS awhile back. I assume this is the exact same procedure except I'll modify the S674A to S676A (or 674 to 676 as they show up)?

I remember the last step of the 6NS coding procedure was that I recode the HU_nbt and a cmb box after I wrote a new FA. Do you know which ones I'll have to recode when I do the swap or will it be obvious? Thanks - I definitely appreciate the help.

You are welcome.

You can use ordering guides or TM's NCD / CAFD tool to determine appropriate code.

HU_NBT has build in combox, unlike HU_CIC. Tool will also give you an idea of which to code, but it should be amp, HU, and ASD. I am not sure if kombi would also be coded. If you PM'd me your FA and SVT, I could take a look. You can attach with cloud link.

Thanks man! I'll send you a PM this weekend (I should be doing the swap then).

Then you should be fine.

It is 3.61 (F020-03-503) when coding was no longer possible.

Asking my question here in case anyone has an answer.

I recently did the Alarm System retrofit (not a standard option in the US on F22s!). I've updated the FA with option 302, coded the new FZD module.....and the alarm functions because I get the red blinking light and I can set it off, causing my horn to honk.

My siren still does not function however. I've been checking all the connections but I was curious if it was possible that the siren not functioning could be related to any of the coding.....considering that the alarm system itself is in fact working? Just shooting for process of elimination at this point

FZD, FEM, and HU_NBT should have taken care of necessary coding.

Haha ughhh...

Is there a way I can go back and check the FA/VO that was applied to those ECUs, to make sure that option 302 was written to each of them? I activated the FA, right clicked each ECU and clicked Code. This was how the DIY/Tutorial I was reading described it but should I have hit the CODE button under the SVT menu instead?

If I chose the wrong CAFD file when FDL Coding the FZD, could that cause this issue? Sorry, I'm still learning all of this.

Coding-Verification would create files that you could compare with existing with TM NCD / CAFD Tool.

I've been looking at the coding docs, trying to get my bearings.

pikcachu put together an excellent cheat sheet. Reading through some subsequent posts, I was able to determine that rows in green are confirmed to work, and blue is still "undetermined".

What do the red, and yellow lines mean? Can someone (pikcachu?) please add a legend for the color codes on the bottom?
