Locking sound requires 302 alarm.

Turn off drive mode description?

Is there any way to turn off the descriptions that pop up every time I select a different drive mode (Sport, Sport Plus, Eco).
I HATE it!

So wondering if anyone has any input on an issue, I have successfully coded my car btw (Thanks for all the info!) but I tried coding another fellow M235i, I was able to read svt/FA, activate FA, "read coding data" and then enter different ecu's. Once I went to "code FDL" I received some errors (forgot to screenshot) they were definitely cafd related though, I remember reading. Most of the coding I did didn't end up working, but a couple did (ex: AC off on startup). I did just realize I hadn't added all the cafd files that were in the "63.3+ CAFD" folder into the "psdzdata\swe\cafd" , so maybe I was missing those? His car is a 2014, mine is 2015 if that matters. I wasnt able to get his I-step version either. Any help/tips would be appreciated!

If you were able to "Read Coding Data" without errors, then updating PSdZ or inserting missing CAF's will not fix issue.

Post actual error. Then, community and I can further assist.

Hi Guys
I have NBT evo oem fitted in the car f87 3/2017 production, the car is quite full BUT without apple car play.

I have check on etk possible retrofit and is possible to buy 6NR fsc code 9c.
on the connected drive already work M laptimer, spotify and other app.
Checking in comfrot mode the fsc is not present.

Can anyone explain how bmw is managing these functions?
is that provision that enable without FSC?

thank you for help

Thanks for posting! I did a little research and couldn't find a difference between 2014 and 2015 for coding, but I'm not too familiar with coding on these cars. Maybe we have to get together and try again, and if it still doesn't work we'll take that screen shot next time, lol.

Carplay is provisioned through ConnectedDrive.

So going through some logs these are some of the errors I was able to find:

Line 30823: Result error: MCDError Severity: 2051, Error Code: 58640, Description: resource not available, Vendor Code: 2008, Vendor Description: T2 timeout occured

Line 30841: description: T2 timeout on Service RDBI_FTP has error in result: [Severity=2051][ErrorCode=58640][ErrorCodeDescription=resource not available][VendorCode=2008][VendorCodeDescription=T2 timeout occured]; LinkName: FEM_BODY_40_ETHERNET

Line 33173: description: Service RDBI_SVK has error in result: [Severity=2051][ErrorCode=53311][ErrorCodeDescription=Module offline][VendorCode=20039][VendorCodeDescription=link is no longer active]; LinkName: FEM_BODY_40_ETHERNET

not sure if these mean anything or If it would be better to read the error in in e-sys in real time. Thanks!

Led headlamps

Hello again, I wrote a few weeks back, I'm having trouble on finding the code for leaving my halos full brightness on when turning the lights on. I tried all the options on the F22, F15 and F30 cheat sheets and couldn't get them to work. So I have come to the conclusion that it's because this car is 2018 and has the LEDs headlamps installed from factory.

The nearest I got is messing with FLE module - POL1_ and changing the third hex value to 0A, but that doesn't work as expected.

Anyone has coded their LEDs headlamps halos to maintain full bright when you turn them on?

Thanks in advance

If vehicle has adaptive headlamps or LED's, coding is in secondary lighting modules. You cannot blindly select hex values; an understanding of architecture is needed to know what value represents in section below (ie intensity, etc)

Coding Mirrors ?

Hi, can you guys tell me if I can code the mirrors to fold on my new 2017 M240i if it does not have the folding facility button installed already? Can they be coded to fold on locking and unfold on unlocking without the fold button being present on the door panel next to the adjustment buttons? It is not the only aspect I would like to code but I had this question first. Could not find the answer in search.
Thank you.

Coding cannot overcome lack of hardware.

Thanks for that, by any chance someone has LED's that could share their hex values with me?

Thanks in advance

Quick resurrect for a question- my VO code for my exhaust apparently disappeared. My SA saw it and it’s the reason my exhaust valve hasn’t operated. He said to just get it coded back in but what’s the number for exhaust? I VO coded Bluetooth but don’t remember taking anything out

Decode your VIN and compare to current FA in VCM.
