Question Spoiler for Midnight blue 228XI

Need help/advice I have a 2015 228XI in midnight Blue with the sport line option. I just got a 30% off coupon for all BMW accessories so the Carbon M performance rear spoiler would be $385 with free shipping. It seems like an OK deal, however my car has ZERO carbon fiber on it. I don't know if it would look tacky with a carbon spoiler on a Midnight Blue car? Any thoughts? Also When I get home I will attach a photo of my car so you can get a real idea of what MB actually looks like. (Its NOTHING like the website photo.)

I love the MPerformance spoiler in CF, but I voted for no spoiler for your car. After seeing the pic you posted, I feel a spoiler doesn't quite suit the personality of the car. The chrome around the windows and grills, as well as the wheels, bumper, and color of the car make it feel classier, more relaxed, and less aggressive/racy than other 2s.

But... I think it's a tough decision and the car will look good either way. The order of my choices would go
1. No spoiler
2. Color-matched spoiler
3. CF spoiler

I definitely would not suggest gloss, metallic, or matte black.

What he said. If you do CF, I'd want to match the mirror caps for balance and black out the chrome window molding.

Agreed at this point I'm almost leaning towards just leaving it as is. Thank you all for your opinions & help!

What he said^

I voted different color because of the options you posted... If there HAS to be a spoiler I would go color matched as my first option... mine is Black Sapphire and I installed the CF MP but sometimes I think color matched would've been just fine

A spoiler in Midnight blue would be a nice touch.

Saw this on a hood once and it looked awesome. Spoiler not sure if enough real estate, and midnight to CF not a huge color difference. Anyway the hood I saw was mostly body colored with a small area of fade near the windshield that left some CF exposed at the edge. Looked pretty damn slick.
