Wagner catted downpipe?
Can anyone comment on their satisfaction with the Wagner catted downpipe? I plan to install this on a m235i with MPE and bootmod3 tune. It seems many prefer the fabspeed catted downpipe but it is much more expensive.
Is it easy to install? Better sound? Power gains? Why did you choose this over other options? Thanks in advance. |

I was dead set on NOT getting a catless after my past experience (N54 135i) Eventualy I did not want to wait for the BackOrder Wagner catted downpipe so I ordered a catless one and to much surprise from myself the smell is like 100 times less than I experienced with my N54, to the point its not even bothering me.. And of course I know I get max performance, the sound with my M-Perf exhaust is incredible, in confort it sound like a real sports car and in sports its insane and in S or M trans mode with the oem burbles its ridiculous. That 2 persona character is really growing on me now

Wagner catted N55 downpipe is our most popular option. You will get a nice exhaust tone increase and power gains without rasp or fuel smell

Although Wagner makes a quality product it doesn't use HJS cats so that is where the price difference comes from mainly. Also Fabspeed are built right here in the US which adds to the cost. Everything is a factor. |
