Can anyone confirm if the xdrive has a higher stock ride height than the RWD?

Also: x drive only comes in auto, correct?

I can confirm that it is auto only for M235 x drive.

Ride height is a question for me too. I have driven the xdrive, but they did not have another M235i on the lot. Still trending toward RWD as I don't feel the Xdrive is worth the $1800 premium (I'm coming from an Audi, so quattro has a completely different feel). Plus, I don't want to add more weight to the nose than is already present.

Any fitment issues with the 8.5s on the front? Can you put photos of how it sits and how much gap you have?

Was about to ask which dealership in Ohio you got the car at and noticed the Kelly BMW plate. I picked mine up from there, first one in right off the truck.

Off topic, but small world. Doing the same for my 2015. Kelly treated me far better than other dealers in town.

I pulled next to the RWD on the lot (a red M235i) and to my best eyeball measurement, i couldn't see a difference.

I have more photos of how they fit, need to get them uploaded. Happy to take some more too.

The VMR 8.5's in ET45 need spacers in the front to clear the suspension... I put 5mm in there... which means that the wheel and spacer together is about 17mm further out than stock. A lot of people run 15mm spacers in the front, so this is just a tiny bit more poke than 15mm spacers on stock wheels.

They are just Painted OEM reflectors, you can find them in the commercial forum under Exterior Parts

Tastefully modded. Plans on lowering it at all? An inch in the front, 1/2" in the rear would really finish things off.

Rix - what are the size / parameters of the wheels? Especially the offset. If you needed spacers on the front, was VMW limited in how much offset they can put on the wheel?

I love the way they look in the wheel well. Are those 19s on stock M suspension or have you lowered on springs / other?

19x8.5 et45 with 5mm spacer front (et40 effectively)
19x8.5 et45 with 3mm spacer rear (et42 effectively)
235/35/R19 tire size, all around.

Stock M suspension, no lowering (yet). I have plans to lower it.

It's along the edge, but not blocking it.
