Hello, I am looking to buy either an M235i or M240i with the 6MT. Does anyone know if either of these models has auto rev matching and how it works? Thanks

The M240i has auto rev matching that is active in any mode other than DSC-OFF. It rev matches as the lever is moved into the gate for the gear that is being selected.

The m235 does not have it, m240 does. I have owned both and I was hesitant to get the 240 b/c I thought I'd hate it, but I've become a fan. It doesn't take that much away from the fun of driving stick and makes daily driving a bit smoother. When you downshift it basically revs to where you need to be so you really just need to take foot off the clutch.

230 has it and it covers for the turbo lag which kinda prevents me from doing a quick double clutch on downshifting.
