Thanks to x233
Eibach is 20 mm front 10 mm rear for RWD, 15 mm front and 10 mm rear for AWD. H&R - there are 2 versions, one that's everyone is talking about which is 25 mm or more front and rear, and there's one with 15 mm all around - these are for RWD. for AWD there is only a -25 mm version. Vogtland - 15 to 19 mm all around Megan Racing - 25 mm all around Last edited by Bombermon3; 11-26-2017 at 08:14 AM.. |

Is there anyone running this M Performance spring kit? There's so little information from the forum and vendors about these. I'd love to have a 10mm, more spring rate, and a factory part.

For xDrive, ST Suspension, they're 10 mm.
For RWD I'd say OEM M Performance kit |

Are there 2 part numbers for the RWD? I called H&R and was told there was only 1 part number (28891-2) not too long ago.

In my defense, if you search for "28896 H&R" then your results will usually point to x-drive or 228i fitment. I didn't realize springs were interchangeable between all F2X models. Good to know. |

Hmm.... Strange, as at lest the front springs should definitely have different rates between the (heavy) M235/240 and (lighter) 228/230. Within M-Performance springs, the P/Ns are different for the I6 and I4 2-series models.

You have to go to BMW >> 2 Coupe (F22, F87) >> M 235i >> Sport Performance Springs >> Suspension Kit, coil springs. That way it'll give you 2 options:
(site language can be changed to English in the right upper corner before you select your vehicle make and model) You can open/download the TUV certificate for each part number that'll give you specific details on the springs application/suitability and relevant technical data. |

Thanks! I didn't know you could change the language. I just clicked around, lol.
Too bad H&R doesn't provide their spring rates, like it's some sort of trade secret. I didn't see it listed in the documents and I didn't get an answer when I spoke with the rep last time. These springs sure feel soft, though, considering I can easily compress them with my hands. |

I'm in the same boat mate - I'd like to stiffen-up the suspension but really don't want it any lower.

Look at Swift Spec R's for the 2014+ 335i.
They fit and they work. 4.5 k spring rate up front and 11k spring rate in the rear. Ride height will come out to about 22.5" front 23" rear. YOUR GONNA LIKE IT!!!! If your looking for a performance upgrade and not just a beauty spring. |
