Service light reset code?

Sorry if this has been asked before but it's the first time I've had to do it and have exhausted my patience with google for the day. How the f*^& are you supposed to know what the code for this stupid service light reset thing is? Last two of my vin are 5 and 7. The thing goes from 00-45. I've tried 5+7 (12) and no luck. Any ideas?

Nevermind, i'm dumb. apparently the engine can't be running to access the service menu resets. i went back and tried it in accessory mode with the engine off and it worked just fine.

Press and hold the mileage reset button on the dash (the only button on the gauge cluster) and then scroll through the menus.
